Author of Peer-Reviewed Creationist Paper Seeks Retraction

A paper espousing creationism and published in Proteomics, a peer-reviewed biology journal, contains more than 200 instances of plagiarism. Now, one of the paper’s authors, Jin Han, of Inje University in South Korea, is asking the editor of Proteomics that the paper be retracted.

The plagiarized paper was discussed by Paul Z. Myers’s blog, Pharyngula. Myers is Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Minnesota at Morris. Myers called the paper “a baffling failure of peer review.” Since the post was published, Meyer has received more than 238 comments about the plagiarized paper.
