Brevard Childs

Brevard Childs, the Emeritus Sterling Professor of Divinity at Yale died on June 23, 2007. Childs was famous for his canonical approach to biblical studies. His book, Introduction to the Old Testament as Scripture emphasized the importance of studying the Bible canonically.
